This is the new 2011 2012 Blackburn Rovers away soccer jersey. Blackburn may have been late in releasing the Blackburn Rovers shirts to the public but they are worth the wait. Blackburn under the guidance of Steve Kean and backed by their wealthy owners are hoping to better their 15th place finish of 2010-11 in 2011-12. Kean has brought in Scott Dann, Simon Vukcevic, David Goodwillie, Myles Anderson, Radoslav Petrovic and Bruno Ribiero to strengthen his squad and he will be hoping the new boys gel quickly and propel the Rovers to a top-half finish this year.
The 11/12 Blackburn away kit is manufactured by Umbro and as with all the Umbro football jerseys this year, it is very well designed. The yellow body of the shirt is complemented by black sleeves and an open yellow and black collar. There is also V-shaped striping to the reverse of the shirt which all help to make this kit an impressive piece of sports merchandise.
